This project was a request from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. They were hosting a community engagement forum on improving maternal health and wanted imagery that represented the emotional relationship between mother and child—from pregnancy to postpartum. I drew illustrations to create empathetic and aspirational tones, visualizing positive outcomes of good research and medical treatments that lead to happy and healthy baby and mother.
